We drove to Yosemite, left our car in the Valley, and took 4 buses to the start of our hike: a 4-hour bus ride from Yosemite to Mammoth, a trolley (pictured here), a mountain bike bus to get to the Mammoth Ski Area, and a shuttle bus to Devil's Postpile). The total cost was only $44.
