Finally at Kalalau Beach after 11 miles! (Very long miles, by the way; while hiking, Chris asked once whether they were "dog miles.") The beach is accessible only by hiking or boat. This beach was a fascinating place. There was a fair number of people who were just camped out; we met one guy who had been there for a couple of weeks subsisting off the avocados and fruit in Kalalau Valley.
