We camped on our trip (except we stayed one night in a hostel when it was raining). We spent three nights at the campground in Lake Louise. Apparently the campground had been closed for three years because so many bears were roaming around the campgrounds. Now there's an electrified fence around the campground, so the bears roam outside of the fence.
