Back at camp, Chris boiled water on the stove and put it in our Nalgene bottles, using Shirley's hiking socks for insulation. We put the bottles into our sleeping bag at night to help keep us warm (it got below freezing both nights we camped along the Rockwall). We could even drink the water the next day.
